You may also click and drop the .SCS '''file (#1)''' onto the SCS Extractor to extract the files. For example drag the base.scs file onto the SCS Extractor. This will then extract all the containing files into the current location. '''(#2)''' You should do this in a separate folder to keep files tidy, just copy the '''Base.scs #3''' file (for example) into a separate folder along with the scs extractor and then follow the above instruction.

Change in Game Archive Extractor

Hello! I would like to disucss your change (http://modding.scssoft.com/index.php?title=Documentation/Tools/Game_Archive_Extractor&diff=2697). Unfortunately from what we see it's not exactly correct.

You may also click and drop the .SCS file (#1) onto the SCS Extractor to extract the files. For example drag the base.scs file onto the SCS Extractor. This will then extract all the containing files into the current location. (#2) You should do this in a separate folder to keep files tidy, just copy the Base.scs #3 file (for example) into a separate folder along with the scs extractor and then follow the above instruction.
  1. .SCS 'files' are archives so it's better to use 'archive' instead of 'file'. Also it will be better to write simply .scs in code tags so it will be .scs.
  2. I would put it into hint.
  3. If you refer to some file name it should be correct - it's not Base.scs it's base.scs - also file names should be surrounded by code tags so it should be base.scs instead of base.scs.
